4. Maintenance

Check the operation of the injectors.

Change the main urea filter (E3 engine with 
AdBlue/DEF technology).

4000 hours or every 2 years

Change the urea inlet prefilter (E3 engine with 
AdBlue/DEF technology)

8000 hours or every 2 years

Change the filter inside the metering module E3 
engine with AdBlue/DEF technology

If blocked by impurities

Check/clean the dry air filter elements.

Change the dry air filter elements.

°

Check the radiator coolant level.

°

Drain, flush and refill the radiator with coolant.

°

Check/clean the radiator/cooler fins.

°

Check/clean the air conditioning condenser.

°

Change the air conditioning dryer.

°

Check the tension and condition of the alterna-
tor/fan/air conditioning compressor belts.

°°

°

Change the alternator/fan/air conditioning compres-
sor belts.

°

Transmission and Auxiliary hydraulics

Check the transmission oil level.

°

Check the auxiliary hydraulics oil level

°

Change the rear axle/transmission oil.

°

Change the transmission suction strainer.

Change the transmission high-pressure filter.

Check the oil in the rear final drive units.

°

Change the oil in the rear final drive units.

Change the auxiliary hydraulic system return filter.

Change the auxiliary hydraulic system strainer.

Change the auxiliary hydraulic system oil.

°

Change the auxiliary hydraulic system breather.

°

Check/lubricate the linkage shaft and only top up if 
not properly sealed.

Check all hydraulic systems for correct operation.

Check the clutch pedal and transmission for cor-
rect operation.

Check the clutch fluid level.

°

Change the clutch fluid, bleed the system.

°

Brakes

Check the condition of the brake pipes/com-
pressed air tank.

Bleed the brakes.

°

Replace the ParkLock brake pots.

After 9 to 10 manual releases of the ParkLock emer-

gency release system

Check the trailer brake valve for correct operation.

Check the operation of the emergency hand brake.

°

Check the operation of the ParkLock.
