Cleaning and lubrication of driving chain 

 

Dirt on the drive chain will increase wear of both the chain and the drive 
sprockets. Therefore, clean the driving chain every 1.000 km with cleaning 
solvent, and lubricate it with special chain lubricant or engine oil.  

 

 

Recommended IPONE: Chain Clean / Spray Chain. 

 

Tyres 

Check the tyre pressures and tread pattern after the first 1000 km and regularly 
thereafter. Correctly inflated tyres last longer and add to rider safety. 
 

Tyre pressure 

A low tyre pressure will badly affect the driving stability, causing difficulties in 
turning. Too high tyre pressure may reduce the contact area between tyres  
and the road surface reducing grip. It is necessary to always keep the tyre 
pressure within specified limits. Tyre pressure checks should be made when the 
tyre is cold.
