Adjustment of driving chain 

 

 

 

1. Adjusting bolt   2. Locking nut

To adjust:

Park the motorcycle with central stand.

Loosen rear wheel shaft nut.

、

 

Loosen the locking nut.  

4

、

 

Rotate the adjusting bolt left and right to adjust the chain.  

 

Note: 

When a new chain is installed, it is necessary to check both chain sprockets. 
Replace if necessary.  

 

The tension of the driving chain shall be adjusted every 1.000 km, to keep a 
vertical movable distance/slack of 20 - 30 mm in the midpoint of the two chain 
sprockets.
