Replacing the pressure pump
Pressure„pump„replacement„is„a„preventive„maintenance„action„to„be„taken„when„the„
corresponding„warning„is„displayed„on„the„screen„(preferably„after„draining„or„flushing„the„
printer).
Equipment„required:
-„Latex„gloves
-„Protective„goggles
-„2.5„mm„Allen„key.
-„13„mm„open-ended„wrench
-„Pressure„pump

WARNING:„before„performing„any„servicing„operations,„the„printer„must„be„shut„
down„and„disconnected„from„the„mains„power„supply.

Remove„the„ink„circuit„from„the„printer„
(see„procedure).

If„the„circuit„has„not„been„drained,„the„
2„hoses„at„either„end„of„the„pump„need„
to„be„pinched,„and„a„holding„tank„put„
into„position.
Use„the„open-ended„wrench„to„remove„
the„nuts„from„the„banjo„couplings„at„the„
top„and„bottom„of„the„pump.

Use„the„Allen„key„to„remove„the„three„
M3„screws„from„the„pump„motor„module.
