Weld Collar (OPTIONAL)
Installation of a weld collar is only required if the tank does not have an existing port that can
be utilized.
Installation
1. Cut a hole in top of tank to accommodate weld collar. Avoid all internal baffles, piping,
etc. Center the hole in the compartment to be measured both across the width and
length of tank.
2. Place weld collar into tank approximately half way and apply a single tack weld to hold
in place.
3. Adjust weld collar to ensure it is level parallel and perpendicular to tank’s horizontal
centerline.
4. Once the weld collar has been leveled, weld into place.
5. Ensure the collar gasket is in place.
6. Insert sensor/probe assembly into weld collar and securely fasten into weld collar with
supplied fasteners.
Wiring
Once all of the equipment has been mounted, begin connecting all of the devices with the
supplied quick connect cables. Be sure to have all wiring fully secured before powering the
system. All provided cabling and connectors should be clearly marked. - SEE PAGE 4.
REMEMBER:

Secure ALL wiring! Run cables with a drip loop, and whenever possible utilize any
existing wiring harnesses or raceways.

DO NOT kink or bend any cabling.

Bundle any excess cabling with wire ties.

Tighten all quick connects!
