7. Replacing knives
DANGER!
Cylinders can cause injuries!
Before replacing, disconnect the device from the mains and wait until the cylinder stops
turning.
Use work gloves when changing.
1. Remove the screws (1) on the
underside of the housing (Fig. 7)

2. Lift the tilted cylinder (3) and pull
it out (fig. 8)
3. Remove the bearing cap (2)
from the cylinder shaft (fig. 8)
4. Slide the bearing cap (2) over
the other cylinder.

5. Slide the second cylinder onto
the drive shaft so that the pin (5)
fits over the corresponding part
on the drive shaft (4) (Fig. 9).
6. Screw the bearing nut (2) onto
the underside of the housing
without over tightening it.
