PaM21 is a 240 degree standalone motion sensor with
fully automatic indoor and outdoor security/courtesy
lighting control. an adjustable timer lets you select how
long the light stays on after activation. The Lux and
sensitivity settings are also adjustable according to your
needs.
This model comes with the following operation modes:
(1) auto: automatic operation
(2) Manual override: When the light is on, turn the
wall switch off and on twice within 4 seconds to
enter manual override operation.
note: read this entire manual before you start to
install the system.
When choosing a suitable location to install the unit,
please take the following points into consideration:
•
This unit is designed to be installed indoors or out-
doors on the wall/ceiling with the lens facing down-
wards. if the installation is incorrect, it may impair its
functionality. (FigurE 1a & 1b)
•
For the best result, fix your sensor on a solid surface,
2 metres above the ground.
•
For outdoor installation, a location under eaves is
preferable.
•
avoid aiming the motion sensor at pools, heating
vents, air conditioners, or objects which may change
temperature rapidly.
•
avoid direct sunlight.
•
avoid pointing the unit at trees or shrubs or where
the motion of pets may be detected.

installation must be performed by skilled technicians
who are informed about the standards and technical
requirements of the appliance and its proper instal-
lation.
Do not attempt installation unless you have some
experience with household wiring.
Before proceeding with the installation, turn off the
power to the lighting circuit at the circuit breaker or
fuse box to avoid electrical shock.
