l Main walls of the building should never be used as chimney wall element. Chimney
must be inside the building unless otherwise necessary. If the chimney must pass
from outside, the isolation must be done properly.

The chimney must be frequently cleaned in order to avoid tar ,soot and clogs that would
prevent chimney draught.
l
There shouldn't be foreign objects, cement or surface fragments inside the chimney, as
these would cause narrowing in sections of chimney and result in decrease on
chimney draught.
