6 Maintenance
Periodic maintenance on your RBB 4G Maksiwa Edge Trimmer will ensure optimum performance. Make it a habit
to inspect your Edge Trimmer each time you use it. This section covers the most common service adjustments
or procedures that may be needed and maintenance during the lifetime of your machine.
Verify the following condition before operations:
- Loose or poorly tightened screws/bolts;
- Switchers or buttons;
- Worn and/or damaged cables, plugs or sockets;
- Damaged gears or chain linkage;
- Consider any other condition that could impair the safe operation of this equipment;
6.1 Maintenance Schedule
Daily:
• Vacuum all dust from above and around the machine.
• Clean the guides, shafts and the top knife and scraper bit, getting rid of any glue residue.
Weekly:
• Clean the accumulation of dust inside the rear cover of the machine.
• Check the buttons and electrical cable for wear or damage.
• Check the wear of the guillotine and scraper bit.
• Pay attention to the wear of the Buffer and clean/ change it whenever necessary.
Electric panel
Never move or service the electrical panel with the machine turned on or plugged in. Look for Maksiwa authorized
technical assistance when you need to handle the electrical panel.
