Uploading media or other files to the My Library Drive
:
Using the PC Companion:
While connected to the Makook Home Center
’s LAN (home) network, find the PC
Companion App. located in the lower right bottom taskbar. It is a small red/green Makook
Icon. Click on the settings icon
and select “Reconnect”. From the menu, click on the “ROS
Cloud drive
” (your My Library drive). Your PC’s file manager will open displaying the
folders created for all media files that are found in the My Library drive.
You will see the following folders that were created automatically:
1. .DAV- This folder contains special files created for managing your Library Drive. Do
not attempt accessing it as it may cause faulty operation.
2. Documents- Stores non-media files such as pdf, xls, doc, txt, and so on.
3. Mobile_Uploads - Files that you send to the Library drive originating from your mobile
devices get stored here.
4. Music: All music files are stored in this folder
5. Photos - All photo files are stored in this folder
6. Video- All videos files are stored in this folder
7. Syncronized Content: All media files uploaded from syncing devices
8. USB_Uploads - All media files uploaded directly through the Home Center USB port
