Installing or removing chip receiver
(accessory)
CAUTIO N:
•
Always be sure that the too l is switche d o ff an d the
battery car trid ge is removed b efor e instal ling or
removing chip receive r.
NOTE:
•
When repl acin g the chip rece iver, always wear
gloves so th at hands and face does n ot directly
contact the b lade. Failur e to do so may ca use
per son al i njury.
•
When replacing the chi p receiver, a lways be car eful
not to contact the shear blad es.
•
The ch ip receive r r ece ives cut-off le aves and
alle viates collecting thrown-a way le aves. This can
be insta lled on eith er side of the tool.

Pla ce the chi p re ce iver on the shear blad es so tha t its
slits overlap wi th the screws on the shea r blade s and
secure it using two clamping nuts.
To remove the chip receiver, loosen and remove the two
clamping nuts and then ta ke it o ut.

battery cartridg e is remove d before attemptin g to
per form inspectio n or maintena nce .
Cleaning the tool
Clean out the tool by wiping off dust wi th a d ry or
soap-d ipped rag.

Neve r use g aso line, benzine, thinn er, alcoho l or the
like. Discoloration, deformatio n or cr acks ma y
result.
