Observe the mains voltage:

 The voltage of the power source must agree with the value given on the name-

plate of the unit. Extension cords must have a conductor cross section of 2 x 1.5 mm

 min.

Switching On:

Begin the selection with the SELECT pushbutton (menu). Note: When an indication flashes in the display, a
change can be initiated with either PLUS or MINUS. Repeated actuation of SELECT leads to the next step.

Selecting the function program

The keyword of the selected function program is indicated by flashing. Longer text begins to move after 2 sec-
onds and returns to the keyword after 2 passes. Within this period, the SELECT pushbutton can be pressed
again to adjust the temperature or the air flow.

Selecting STANDBY or COOL DOWN

– Select STANDBY when interrupting your work for short time. The energy absorption is reduced.
– At the end of your work, always select COOL DOWN. When the unit has cooled off, switch it off and pull

the plug from the receptacle.
