Training
1 .
Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar
ith the controls and the correct use of the
blo er.
2.
Never allo children, persons ith reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and kno ledge or people
unfamiliar ith these instructions to use the
blo er. Local regulations may restrict the age
of the operator.
3.
Never operate the blo er hile people, espe

cially children, or pets are nearby.
4 .
Keep in mind that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents or hazards occurring
to other people or their property.
Preparation
1 .
Al ays ear substantial foot ear and long
trousers hile operating the blo er.
2.
Do not ear loose clothing or je ellery that
can be dra n into the air inlet. Keep long hair
a ay from the air inlets.
3.
Al ays ear protective goggles to protect
your eyes from injury hen using po er tools.
The goggles must comply ith ANSI 7.1 in
the USA, EN 166 in Europe, or AS/N S 1336
in Australia/Ne ealand. In Australia/Ne
ealand, it is legally re uired to ear a face
shield to protect your face, too.
It is an employer s responsibility to enforce
the use of appropriate safety protective e uip
-
ments by the tool operators and by other per
-
sons in the immediate orking area.
4 .
To prevent dust irritation the earing of a face
mask is recommended.
5 .
While operating the machine, al ays ear
non-slip and protective foot ear.
Non-skid ,
closed-toed safety boots and shoes will reduce the
risk of injury.
Operation
1 .
S itch off the blo er and remove the battery
cartridge and make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete stop

henever you leave the blo er.

before clearing blockages.

before checking, cleaning or orking on
the blo er.

if the blo er starts to vibrate abnormally.

Operate the blo er only in daylight or in good
artificial light.

Do not overreach and keep proper balance and
footing at all times.

Al ays be sure of your footing on slopes.

Walk, never run.

Keep all cooling air inlets clear of debris.

Never blo debris in the direction of
bystanders.

Operate the blo er in a recommended position
and on a firm surface.

Do not operate the blo er at high places.

Never point the nozzle at anyone in the vicinity
hen using the blo er.
