Introduction
The industrial-grade patent-pending Qwik
Pure TripleGuard
™ Air Purifier has been
engineered to help eliminate viruses, bacteria, smoke, chemical odors, and volatile
organic compounds (VOCs) from the entire structure by using the air conditioner or
hot-air heating system to circulate purified air within the conditioned space.
The Qwik
Pure TripleGuard
™ unit is easily installed into the ductwork of air conditioning
and heat systems (HVAC systems) where most sick building problems originate.
Unlike many air purifiers, Qwik
Pure TripleGuard
™ uses three methods to clean, sanitize,
and purify the air. The first stage is UV-C Light, which is lethal to many viruses and
bacteria by damaging their DNA and RNA. The second stage is photocatalytic oxidation
(PCO), which forms powerful hydroxyl radicals that break down organic substances
by oxidation. The final stage is an activated carbon/potassium permanganate (AC/PP)
purifier to ensure complete oxidation and provide an additional level of sanitization.
The result is a powerful three-punch approach that reduces bacteria, viruses, and odors
as well as VOCs emitted from paints, cleaners, building materials, and cooking. Safe and
ozone free, the Qwik
Pure TripleGuard
™ UV-C bulbs are specially coated to avoid the
production of any ozone. Furthermore, any ozone in the air would be removed by the
PCO and AC/PP air cleaning stages.
