17.3 Zone ventilation
The optional zone ventilation generally runs
in ventilation level II (nominal ventilation). The
control distributes the air volume available
over two room zones, e.g. living areas and
bedrooms.
Zone ventilation starts when you select the
Auto Time
operating mode
(provided zone
ventilation is set there).

programme (Chapters 8.3 and 17.2
).
If
zone 1
or
zone 2
is set:
The set zone is supplied with the greater air
volume. The parameter
Reduction in volumet-
ric flow
states the % by which the volumetric
flow of nominal ventilation is reduced in the
stated zone (max. 60 %).
With
Zone Sensor
setting:
The zone with the lower air quality is supplied
with the greater air volume, the other with
the minimum change of air needed. The air
quality values determined with the optional
CO
2
and VOC sensors are analysed for the
control.
Zone ventilation is deactivated with a time
limit if the unit is changed manually to another
ventilation level or if the bypass is opened.
17.4 Cooling in summer operation
Ventilation units with a bypass or geo-
thermal heat exchanger
have their cooling
function released during the
Summer
season.
The supplied air is fed past the heat exchang-
er directly into the living areas. There is no
transfer of heat to the supply air in the heat
exchanger, the exhaust air is transported
outside directly without heat recovery.
The control releases cooling via the
bypass when the set maximum room
temperature is reached (measurement
on temperature sensor).

Cooling minimum T-supply air (Supply air
temp. )
Limits the minimum supply air temperature
if cooling with bypass or brine earth heat
exchanger. The bypass partially closes and/or
the brine geothermal heat exchanger cuts out
when the temperature falls below the set limit.
The ventilation unit regulates the supply air
temperature to the set value.
