Change the grind adjustment se ng to
“coarse” and start the grinding process.
The grinder will clear itself.
Then, during opera on, change the
grind adjustment se ng to the desired
grinding degree.
• The grounds
are too fi ne.

Release the lock on the grind adjust-
ment se ng and set the grinding
degree to “10”.
Start the grinding process.
The grinder will clear itself.
Then, during opera on, change the
grind adjustment se ng to the desired
grinding degree.
• A foreign
object is in
the grinding
mechanism.

Clean the grinding mechanism as
described in the “Cleaning” sec on
and remove the foreign object. If the
foreign object cannot be removed, con-
tact your supplier (see “Maintenance
and service” sec on).
The grinder is
not grinding
fi nely enough.
• The burrs are
worn out.

Contact your supplier (see “Mainte-
nance and service” sec on).
• The burrs are
not aligned
correctly.

Contact your supplier (see “Mainte-

The grinder
does not
grind con-
nuously or
the grinding
process stops
intermi ently.
• The start but-
ton is faulty.
