Step 4
Place a precise weight of 200 g on the weighing
cell. „Pas“ is shortly shown in the display,
followed by 200 blinking. If you do not have a
calibrated 200 g weight you can put the grounds
bin on a regular kitchen scale and fill it up with
water until 200 g is reached. The calibration
is finished when the blinking 200 stops. The
regular „Tare“ procedure according to the
manual can be executed now.

10. CARE AND CLEANING
Danger due to improper cleaning:
Improper cleaning can result
in damage to the appliance or
personal injury.
•
Never immerse the appliance itself, the
DANGER
power supply cable or plug in water.
•
Never touch the plug with wet hands.
•
Never pull the plug out of the socket by
the cable, always grasp the plug.
•
Never attempt to touch or pick up and
electrical appliance if it has fallen into
water. In this case, disconnect the plug
from the socket immediately.
•
Check the appliance and cable regularly for
damage.
Danger due to unauthorised repair:
Repairs must be carried out only
by authorised customer service
centres.
•
If you cannot correct a fault with the aid
of the steps described in these operating
instructions, please refer to your
authorised
dealer.
10.1 Cleaning the housing and hopper
Remove all beans from the hopper. Press
the START button to grind any beans
remaining in the grinder housing.
Disconnect the plug from the
socket.
Remove the hopper by turning it
anticlockwise as far as possible, and then
lift it out of the housing. Wash the funnel,
the funnel cover and the ground coffee
container in warm, soapy water.
Do not wash the hopper, the lid and
the ground coffee container in a
dishwasher. They must be washed
only by hand.
Do not allow the housing of the
coffee grinder to come into contact
with water.
