BELT REPLACEMENT
Use a V belt B
-
47 (#107354) as a replacement belt.
1. Remove the belt guard ( item 1) by removing the
four hex. bolts 5/16" n.c. x 1" (item 2) and four lock
washer 5/16" (item 3) ;
3. Raise the tensioner (item 4) to remove the tension
on the belt (item 5);
4. Remove the old belt and install the new one;
5. Reapply the tension on the belt by lowering the
tensioner;
6. Make sure the flat idler tensioner pulley is properly
aligned on the pulley.
7. Reinstall the belt guard with four hex bolts 5/16"
n.c. x 1" (item 2) and four lock washer 5/16" (item
3) .
BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT
If the belt becomes too stretched, it is possible to
change the position of the spring (item 6) on the
tensioner.
To do so, turn the eyebolt (item 7) as to extend it
farther than the original length by 2 inches.
