torch and the pump.
2.4 WELDING CONNECTIONS
2.4.1 Connections of the Wire Feeder
Ÿ
Place the wire feeder on to the turn table
(14)
on
the machine.
Ÿ
Connect the blue gas hose
(16-c)
to gas outlet
bush
(3)
in front of the power source.
Ÿ
Connect the control cable
(16-b)
to the control
socket
(4)
in front of the power source.
Ÿ
Connect the welding plug
(16-a)
into the welding
cable connection outlet

in front of the power
source.

Connect the earth cable to one of the earth clamp
sockets

on the power source very tight.
Ÿ
Sockets with different inductance values help the
machine to weld with less spatter at a wider current
range. For the smaller currents or wire diameters
the socket
should be chosen, for the bigger
currents and wire diameters use the socket
or
.
Ÿ
To increase the quality of the welding, earth clamp
should be clamped tightly
on the workpiece,
as
close
as possible
to the welding
area
.
2.4.2 Connections of the Earth Clamp

Be sure that the connections are
fastened tightly. Loose or incorrect
fastening may cause overheating or
gas leakage.
2.4.3 Connections of the Water Cooling Unit
Ÿ
Water cooling unit is a closed circuit system
consisting of a radiator, ventilator, pump and water
tank.
If your machine has water cooling unit:
Ÿ
Connect blue water hose
(16-d)
of the harness
to
the cold water supply outlet
(23)
on the cooling
unit. Connect red water hose
(16-e)
of the harness
to the hot water return outlet
(24)
on the cooling
unit.
Ÿ
Remove the cap of the water filling inlet
(29)
and
put soft water including appropriate antifreeze into
the water tank. The coolant level can be observed
from the coolant level indicator
(28)
in the front
panel.
