rotating. Carefully remove the assembled jar from the motor unit. Open the lid and clean the blades unit and
the jar wall with a plastic spatula. Close the lid and attach the blending jar back to the motor unit. Connect
the mains lead to the mains socket and you can continue blending.
- When you have finished using the speed control, set it to OFF and unplug the power cord. Make sure that
the blade unit has stopped rotating and remove the jar from the motor unit. Use a plastic spatula to remove
the ingredients from the jar.
- Disassemble the blending jar according to the instructions given in the section Assembling and
disassembling the blending jar to the motor unit and clean the appliance.
Operating modes
Pulse mode:
- Pulse mode is suitable when you plan to mix food in the highest gear and only for a very short time.
- Activate the mode by pressing and holding the corresponding button.
Ice crushing mode:
- Activate the mode by pressing and holding the corresponding button.
Smoothie mode:
- By activating this mode, the device will operate at 90% power for 1 min.
- Activate the mode by pressing and holding the corresponding button.
MIXING TIPS AND HINTS
- Foods of a firm consistency, such as e.g. fruit or vegetables, first cut into smaller pieces about 2 to 3 cm in
size and then put them in a blender.
- First mix a small amount of ingredients and add the remaining ingredients gradually through the hole in the
lid during blending. This will give you better results than putting all the ingredients in the blending jar at once.
- If you need to process solid foods at the same time as liquids, we recommend mixing solid foods with fewer
liquids first. Then gradually add the rest of the liquids through the opening in the lid during blending.
- Always hold the lid from above with one hand during blending.
- We recommend using a pulse stage to blend very thick liquids so that the blades unit does not jam.
- Start the blender repeatedly at short intervals.
- Ice cubes must be processed immediately after removing them from the freezer. As soon as the ice starts
to melt, the cubes will join and it will not be possible to mix them.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance by setting the speed control to the OFF position and
disconnect it from the main socket.
- Make sure that the rotating parts have stopped and remove the blending jar from the motor unit.
- After emptying the blending jar, remove it according to the instructions given in the assembly and
disassembly of the blending jar to the motor unit.
- Wash the individual parts of the blending jar thoroughly with warm water using a neutral kitchen detergent.
Then rinse them under clean running water and wipe dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or let them dry freely.
- Warning:
Take extra care when removing and cleaning the blade unit to avoid injury. The blade of the blades
unit is sharp.
- Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the motor unit.
- Never immerse the motor unit or main cable in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use thinners or solvents to clean the appliance, or abrasive cleaners. Otherwise, the surface finish
of the appliance may be damaged.
