Starting the engine

To start the engine, the following conditions have to be met.
z The main battery switch needs to be turned on.
z
The gear shift lever for the transmission has to be in the
“NEUTRAL” position.
Depending on the type of engine and the ambient
temperatures, various start procedures are possible.
