To cut the splinter guard to size, proceed as follows:
1. Place the rail onto a level support.
2. Place the machine that is being worked with onto the guiding device.
3. Set the cutting depth of the machine used to 3 mm and the angle scale to 0°.
4. Turn on the machine and slide it evenly in cutting direction across the entire length of the guiding device.
5. Turn off the machine.
➢ The machined edge of the splinter guard now corresponds exactly to the rear cutting edge of the
saw blade.
5 Cleaning of spring guide
To clean the spring guide, proceed as follows:
1. Pull the black plastic spring guide in direction of
the cut.

2. Remove any wood chips in the groove and at
the stop plate.
