After the First 5000 Kilometers (3000 Miles) or Before 6400 Kilometers
(4000 Miles) or Before 3 to 4 Months

Retorque the spring clip (U-bolts).
At the First Inspection Interval
•
Check front and rear axle alignment and adjust if the alignment is out of specifications.
•
Check steering knuckle to axle beam clearance.
Although this quality-built vehicle has been inspected, lubricated and adjusted at the MACK
Trucks Assembly Plant, an occasional air, oil or coolant leak may develop. Quick action to
correct these minor items will prevent a major repair later. Take the vehicle to the nearest
MACK service center as soon as any abnormal condition becomes evident.
