DPF Smart Switch

– This is a three-position switch where the middle position is

neutral.

DPF Smart Switch

1. Upper Position – Regeneration
Position

3. Down Position – Inhibit Position (if
equipped)

2. Middle Position – Neutral Position

CAUTION

During the Aftertreatment DPF Regeneration, the exhaust gas temperature will be
elevated. DO NOT park the vehicle with the exhaust outlet near flammable objects such
as trees, awnings, etc. that could be damaged by elevated exhaust gas temperatures.
