Check that center-link (A) is locked onto the header by
pulling upward on rod end (B) of the cylinder.
DANGER
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.

15. Press HEADER UP switch (A) to raise the header to its
maximum height.
NOTE:
If one end of the header does
NOT
fully rise, rephase the
lift cylinders as follows:
a.
Press and hold HEADER UP switch (A) until both
cylinders stop moving.
b.
Continue to hold the switch for 3
–
4 seconds. The
cylinders are now phased.
16. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from
the ignition.

17. Engage the safety props on both lift cylinders as follows:
a.
Pull lever (A) toward you to release it, and then rotate
it toward the header to lower the safety prop onto the
cylinder.
b.
Repeat the previous step for the opposite lift cylinder.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the safety props engage over the cylinder piston
rods. If the safety prop does
NOT
engage properly, raise the
header until the safety prop fits over the rod.

18. Install clevis pin (A) through the support and windrower lift
arm and secure it with hairpin (B). Repeat this step for the
opposite side of the header.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that clevis pin (A) is inserted as far as possible, and
that the hairpin is installed behind the bracket.
