Exhaust Vent
Installation
This kit provides two exhaust vents that can be installed onto the top-middle enclosure. Once
installed, two exhaust hoses can be attached for venting.
Ventilation
Requirements
For proper operation, the outlets should provide a minimum of 110 cfm (cubic feet per minute)
at each port (220 cfm total). The blower requirements to vent externally will depend on the
configuration of the on-site ventilation ducting.
Required Tools

#2 phillips screwdriver
Remove the Top
Enclosure
1.
Remove the ten screws that secure the enclosure to the printer.
2.
Disconnect the power cables for the two fans that face the input side of the printer.
To find the fan’s quick disconnect, reach into the printer through the top enclosure’s middle
door. The cable connections are located near each fan. It may be helpful if a second per-
son slightly lifts the top middle enclosure to reveal the cable connections.
3.
With the help of one other person, remove the enclosure from the printer.
