Remove Both Fans

Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the eight screws (four for each fan) that secure the
two fan finger guards to the top enclosure.
Hold the light-blocking plate as the last of the four screws is removed. The light blocking
plate and fan will fall free when the screws are removed.

Store the finger guards and light-blocking plates. These two components will not be re-
used for the exhaust installation.
If the printer’s user decides to disconnect the exhaust kit at a later time, the light-blocking
plates and finger guards should be re-installed.
