7.2 HYGIENE
Only if you carefully clean and maintain it at the advised intervals and with the suggested methods, can an
impeccably hygienic hot drinks quality and optimum functionality of the machine be guaranteed. In order to
keep it clean and fully functional, there are three instructed cleaning intervals for drinks vending ma-chines
(see “Cleaning works”).
7.3 PERISHABLE FOODS
Caution!
Food which has gone bad can make you sick!
The foods offered for sale are perishable. Therefore the following advice has to be considered:
Consider the sell-by date on the product packaging.
Preferably, do not use products with a nearly reached sell-by date.
Only use products suitable for machine use.
Only use the cleaning solutions suggested in the cleaning scheme and note the instructions on the
packaging.
7.4 CLEANNING SOLUTIONS
Attention:
Cleaning solutions unsuitable for use with food can make you ill and pose a risk of injury!
Only use products suitable for food environments that are approved and recommended by us when cle-
aning your machine! Unsuited and not approved cleaning products may lead to early wear or defects of
the machine. The manufacturer’s use
- and safety-advice must be followed!
The cleaning works are split into daily, weekly and monthly routines. The cleaning methods are marked by
pictograms 1 to 7
Note:
In the cleaning scheme, there are machine parts which are assigned to their construction groups and
which need to be cleaned. Other cleaning works which are not related to a specific machine part will be
stated separately.
7.5 BASIC CLEANING WORKS
Note:
The interval shown in the table is the minimum frequency. The exact
cleaning time depends, amongst other things, from the number of drinks the machine has prepared.
