Attention:
If the cleaning temperatures are too high, they can damage plastic parts!
When plastic machine parts are cleaned in the dishwasher, too high cleaning temperatures can cause
damage.
The cleaning temperature may not exceed 65 °C!
Designer parts made of aluminum must not be cleaned in the dishwasher!
7.1 SAFETY
REGULATIONS
FOR
CLEANING
AND
MAINTENANCE
Before starting any works on the drinks machine, please note the following safety instructions!
Danger!
Danger of electric shock!
Always turn off the machine and pull the plug before performing any maintenance- and repairing works on
it!
Caution:
Cleaning- and maintenance works not assigned to the client may only be performed by people who have
been trained to handle the machine, either by the person who has set up the machine or the one who runs
it, and must be familiar with the dangers that can occur when opening the machine!
Caution!
Risk of injury by high water pressure!
When cleaning and maintaining the boiler or the pipes, it is vital to proceed in the following order:
Interrupt the drinking water supply.
Dispense hot water until you
receive the default message “check inlet”
Disconnect the machine from the main network.
Caution!
Danger of scalding!
There are hot surfaces inside the machine. Allow the machine to cool down before cleaning and main-
taining it.
Caution!
Danger of crushing!
The fresh brewing unit and the espresso brewing unit have parts that can move on their own. Do not put
your hands into the machine while it is still on.
Attention
Danger of destruction!
The machine must not be hosed down with water or a high pressure cleaner! There is a risk of electric
shock, and internal machine parts can get damaged!
