Emptying
WARNING!
Before removing the grass catcher (25) stop the engine and wait
until the blade (29) comes to a complete stop.
Empty the grass catcher (25) frequently during use. Do not wait until it is full. We
recommend emptying when it is 90% full.
NOTE:
A full grass catcher (25)
reduces the performance of the product.

2. Lift the grass catcher hooks off the rods and place the grass catcher (25) on the
ground.
3. Remove the grass clippings from the rear discharge chute (30) into the grass
catcher (25). Use a proper tool such as a brush.
WARNING!
Never use your hands or feet to remove grass clippings from
the rear discharge chute (30)!
4. Empty the grass clippings onto a compost heap.

Grass catcher inspection
During use the grass catcher (25) material is subjected to normal wear and tear.
An excessively worn grass catcher may allow the objects to be thrown towards the
operator. Replace a worn grass catcher to prevent possible injury.
Mulching insert
NOTE:
Mulching means cutting and returning the grass clippings to the
ODZQLQRQHVWHSWKHJUDVVFOLSSLQJVDUHFXWYHU\¿QHDQGWKHQGLVWULEXWHG
evenly back onto the lawn. Under normal conditions, the mulched grass will
biodegrade quickly to provide nutrients to the lawn.
