14. Once the cutting blade (16) is replaced and secured, re-fit and close the
cover (8). Ensure the cover (8) sits properly on both sides of the main unit
(3) and the interlocking device (8a) properly seats in the safety key slot (17).
15. Tighten the locking knob (6) clockwise to secure the cover (8).
NOTE:
Let the product run for a minute to ensure the shredding means
are secured and rotating smoothly before using the product again.
Power cord
If the power cord (9) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a safety hazard.
WARNING!
Do not use the product with a defective or a loose power
cord (9) and extension cord!
UK plug (only for UK market)
If you need to replace the fitted plug, then follow the instructions below.
IMPORTANT:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this product may not correspond
with the coloured marking identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as
follows. The wire, which is coloured blue, must be connected to the terminal,
which is marked with N or coloured black. The wire, which is coloured brown,
must be connected to the terminal, which is marked L or coloured red.
