S600D USER AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

EXTRUSION NOZZLES

CLEANING THE NOZZLES

Nozzles must be kept clean to ensure the quality of the printed parts.
It is necessary to periodically clean the nozzles and replace them when required.

To clean the nozzles:

Wait until the main LED on the build plate is off, then open the door of the machine.

Check that all the nozzles and printer components are cool.

Proceed to the toolhead unloading (see 5.2.4)

Remove the oozing platform at the bottom of the toolhead by unscrewing the central

screw
5.

Disconnect the two connectors linked to the extrusion block of the nozzle that you wish

to remove (as shown in the image below). To avoid damage, lift up the tongue of the
connector before pulling.

Use the Allen wrench (supplied) to unscrew (counterclockwise) the two grub screws (7)

on the cooling block and remove the extrusion block .
