9 Choosing your sunset
Bodyclock Junior has two gradual sunset options, fade-to-
nightlight and fade-to-darkness. Both will help your baby to settle
at bedtime and drift off to sleep. Ideal for bedtime feeds and
cuddles.
a) fade-to-nightlight lulls your baby to sleep and provides an ultra-
soft glow for reassurance throughout the night. From full
brightness to 5% nightlight takes about 25 minutes.

Make sure A is out and is lit up.

Press P and, at the same time, press + and – . Release when the
display shows .
b) fade-to-darkness lulls your baby to sleep and gently helps them
to get used to the dark. From full brightness to darkness takes 30
minutes.

Repeat the steps above. Release when the display shows
. This turns off the fade-to-nightlight option
and sets the fade-to-darkness option instead.
10 Starting the sunset
Gradually fading light is nature's way of telling us to wind down so
Bodyclock Junior's automatic sunset is programmed to slowly fade
in just the same way.

Make sure A is in and is not lit.
¾
Press + until the lamp is as bright as you want.
¾
Press + and – at the same time. Release when the display shows
.
¾
The light will slowly fade. If you chose the fade-to-nightlight
option the light will stop at 5% full brightness; if you chose fade-
to-darkness it will dim completely.
