WHITE NOISE
is a low-pitched interference sound, ideal for
masking out other noises. When you activate your wake-up sunrise,

shows and
WAKE SOUND
then
WHITE NOISE
briefly show.

to set your sound option; set the wake-up volume by

Radio
If you choose
WAKE RADIO
as your wake-up option, you are
prompted to choose an FM radio station by pressing

(to tune
down) or

(to tune up).

and the volume bar shows.
Select your wake-up volume by pressing

To set, press

or wait 12 seconds.
You’ll wake to your sunrise and preferred radio station at the set
volume. When you activate your wake-up sunrise,

Light
If you select
WAKE LIGHT
you’ll wake to a simple sunrise without
any sounds. When you activate your wake-up sunrise,
A
shows and
WAKE LIGHT
briefly shows.
Flash
Selecting
WAKE FLASH
gives you a sunrise followed by the light
flashing on and off at the wake-up time. When you activate your
wake-up sunrise,
A
shows and
WAKE FLASH
briefly shows.
Display brightness
You can set the brightness of the display panel to automatically dim
to minimise sleep disturbance. When you activate your wake-up

sunrise before going to sleep this feature is also activated (see also

).
Press and hold
E
until
SET WAKEUP TIME
shows, then press
E
repeatedly until e.g.
DISPLAY AUTO
shows. Press

to scroll
through and select an auto-dimming option:
DISPLAY AUTO
causes the display panel to dim to a low level
when the light is low or off. The display reverts to normal brightness
during the wake-up sunrise.
DISPLAY HIGH
keeps the display panel at its brightest setting
without dimming at all.
DISPLAY AUTO OFF
causes the display panel to dim to a low
level then finally off when the light is low or off. The display reverts
to normal brightness during the wake-up sunrise.
To set, press
E
or wait 12 seconds.
Tip: If you need to see the time when the display is dim or off, press
+
to
light the display panel. After 12 seconds it reverts to its previous low level.
Sunrise
The shortest sunrise takes only 15 minutes and the longest lasts 90
minutes and all reach full brightness at your chosen wake-up time.
For example, if your wake-up time is set for 7:00am and you choose
SUNRISE 30
, the sunrise starts at 6:30am and gets to maximum
brightness at 7:00am. Any extra alarms are at the end of the sunrise
at your chosen wake-up time.
