The 1/6D transducer mounting distance shown in the figure indicates the recommended
mounting  method  for  the  transducer  on  the  tank.  It  is  not  advisable  to  mount  the
transducer in the tank axis.

When measuring the flow in open channels, venturi (baffles) with a triangular cut-out are
often used. An example of such an application is shown in Figure 6.
