8.7.4 Status and error messages (process status)
The upper part of the
“Process Status“ tab of Figure 23
is mainly used by Lufft service personnel to
identify problems and faults. In the lower parts of the tab NTP- and AFD-service information might be
displayed, if applicable.
The NTP status can be used to check if the NTP daemon for automatic time synchronization (see section
8.7.5) is working. The information about the NTP service is only displayed and updated every minute if
the NtpMode is active (equal to 1). The display of the NTP status (see Figure 23) shows the information
requested with the ntpq -pn command. The most important values are only briefly described here.

Designation
Description
NTP server
Specifies the address of the time server and its selection status. For
example, a '*' means that the time server is used for system
synchronization.
Reachability
of
the server
Provides information about the availability of the server during the last
connection requests. The accessibility is binary and not octal as specified
by ntpq. Each 1 stands for a successful connection and 0 for an
unsuccessful connection.
Polling interval [s]
Specifies the interval at which the time server is queried.
