
BUTTON SEWING
Attach the embroidery plate to the needle plate as
shown in figure 1.
Change the presser foot to the button sewing foot.
Place the fabric under the presser foot. Place the
button in the right place and lower the presser foot.
Turn the stitch selection dial to zigzag.
Set the stitch width to a value from 3 to 5 depending
on the distance between the two holes on the
button. Turn the handwheel to check that the needle
goes straight from the left to the right hole of the
button. Turn the pattern selection dial to the straight
stitch position. Work a few stitches to fasten the
thread end. Set the stitch selection dial to the zigzag
stitch position, and slowly sew the button sewing
about 10 stitches. Turn the pattern selection dial to
the straight stitch position and sew a few stitches to
fix the thread end.
If there is a need to leave a gap between the thread
and the button, place the darning needle on the
button and sew (3). For buttons with 4 holes, sew the
two holes first (2), push the fabric forward, then sew
the other two holes (3)
