Q: Why is my system not stable with 100 MHz CPU?

There are many reasons for this condition. One of the most common is that

SDRAM does not match PC-100 specification. When system is operated under 100
MHz, in addition to 100 MHz CPU, SDRAM must be PC-100 DIMM too.
