• The lamp is delivered ready for use
• Allowed installation position: suspended, i.e. the M10 tube is vertically aligned.
• In case the M10 tube is not used for installing the lamp (e.g. usage of a clamp or placed on top of the terrarium), it has to be ensured that the lamp is securely mounted.

• Press down the retention pin inside the lamp holder by using a screwdriver and
remove the lamp holder ring. Remove the re-flector and unscrew the screw
on the pull relieve. Now you can remove the inner piece with the electrical
contacts.
• Unscrew the lampholder from the M10 tube. You might have to loosen the small
screw inside the lampholder thread. Remove the lower washer and nut.
• Make a hole of 10mm into the surface onto which you want to attach the lamp.
Lead the cable and the attached mounting accessories (M10 tube, washers,
nuts and pull relieve) through the hole. Secure the M10 tube from both sides of
the surface with the nuts and screw the pull relief onto the tube.
• Pull the power cable through the upper part of the lamp holder. Make sure
when screwing the lamp holder onto the M10 tube, that the metal tube is not
reaching too far into the lamp holder and can get in contact with the cable ends
or electric contacts. Tighten screw inside the thread to secure the M10 tube
into place. Connect the cable ends to the contacts on the lampholder.
• Place the reflector between the two lamp holder parts and screw the lamp
holder together. Make sure that the middle piece is fitting properly and that
the retention pin snaps in.
• Make sure that the power cable is not twisted and then arrest the pull relief
by tightening the screw.

• Remove the silicon cap from the lamp holder
• Loosen the screw on the pull relieve and unscrew the pull relieve from the
tube. Make sure that the cable is not twisted in the process
• Remove the upper part of the connector case
• Make a hole of 16mm (22mm if you do not remove the upper part of the con-
nector case) into the surface onto which you want to attach the lamp. The
surface should not be thicker than 15mm in order that the pull relieve can be
installed properly.

• Lead the cable with connector and the rest of the mounting accessories
through the hole.
• Slide the special washer over the cable below the pull relieve and secure the
M10 tube from both sides with the nuts
• Re-install the pull relieve and arrest the cable by tightening the screw
• Connect the connector with the coupling on the power cord and plug the power
cord into a wall socket
