Model 1100
A Model 1100 Brick® measures approximately 17” (W) x 17.75” (D) x 7”(H) and is
intended to be installed on a standard 19-inch rack. It comes with two optional rack
mounting brackets that can be attached to the sides to secure it to the rack.
The Model 1100 is available in both an AC-powered and a DC-powered version.
Both models contain 10/100baseTX, GigabitCopper, and GigabitFiber Ethernet ports
and Encryption Accelerator Cards.
The AC Model can be purchased in any of the following configurations:

Seven 10/100baseTX ports, thirteen GigabitCopper ports, no GigabitFiber
ports, and two Encryption Accelerator Cards (7/13/0/2 configuration)
•
Seven 10/100baseTX ports, one GigabitCopper port, four GigabitFiber ports,
and three Encryption Accelerator Cards (7/1/4/3 configuration)
•
Seven 10/100baseTX ports, one GigabitCopper port, six GigabitFiber ports,
and two Encryption Accelerator Cards (7/1/6/2 configuration)
The DC Model can be purchased in the following configuration:

Seven 10/100baseTX ports, one GigabitCopper port, four GigabitFiber ports,
and three Encryption Accelerator Cards (7/1/4/3 configuration)
Regardless of the configuration you choose, the case is the same. The front contains
activity lights and a switch on the left, and a cover that opens downward to provide
access to a standard 3.5” floppy disk drive.
The rear of the device provides access to two hot swapable redundant power supplies.
There is one 10/100baseTX and one Gigabit Copper interface on the motherboard,
which are labeled
Ether0 and Ether7 , respectively, in all three configurations. The
