Error conditions related to SELT and DELT

Error conditions during testing

The system generates error messages when you attempt to initiate a SELT or DELT
operation under one of the following conditions:

•

The port is disabled.

•

The port is active (in the

l i n e - d i a g

profile for the port,

e n a b l e d

is set to

y e s

).

•

A previous SELT, DELT, or a TFTP transfer is still in progress on the slot.

•

The LIM is not ADSL2/ADSL2+ capable.

•

A built-in self-testing (BIST) operation is running the port.

•

SELT or DELT test results are waiting for TFTP transfer on the slot. (The TFTP timer
is still running.)

•

Attempting a DELT test, if the

Error conditions during transfer of results

The system generates error messages when you attempt TFTP transfers under the
following conditions:

•

A SELT or DELT test is in progress.

•

A previous TFTP transfer is in progress on this Stinger system (shelf).

•

The TFTP server is unreachable.

•

File creation was blocked on the TFTP server.

•

No test result data was available.
