Chapter 2
Web Management Operation
Introduction
Web management is provided to manage the ADSL device as easily
as possible. It provides a user-friendly configuration and graphical
interface through a web-based interface. You can configure a bridge
or router function to accommodate your device and need. The
sections that follow describe each configuration item.
Preparing for Web Mmanagement
1. Refer the hardware installation procedure in chapter 1 to
install the CellPipe 60A / 60A-BX.
2. Configure the PC to the same IP subnet as the CellPipe 60A
/ 60A-BX.
Example: The CellPipe 60A / 60A-BX: 192.168.1.1
Your PC: 192.168.1.x
3. Connect your PC to the CellPipe 60A / 60A-B X and make
sure that the PING function is working properly. The default
IP address of this device is 192.168.1.1
4. Launch a web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer or
Netscape), and enter the default IP address 192.168.1.1 into
the address bar to access the web management page.
5. The Enter Network Password dialog box displays first.
