Thank you for purchasing this quality Lucci product. To ensure correct function and safety, please read and
follow all instructions carefully before assembly, installation and use of this heater. Please keep instructions
for future reference.
WARRANTY
•
This heater is covered by a 1-year warranty. The warranty is from the date of purchase, not the date of
installation.
•
Please retain the proof of purchase for any warranty enquires.
•
Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the heater.
•
Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will
void the warranty.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Read and follow all of the instructions in this manual and store it in a safe place for future reference.
For your convenience record the model number and the purchase receipt in a safe place.
When the heater is first used you may detect an odour. This is because the protective layers of oil that the
elements of the device are coated in during production will burn off in first use. This should not cause
concern and you should allow the appliance to heat up in an open environment to make the smell disappear.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
Always ensure the power is OFF and the heater has cooled down for at least 30 minutes before performing
any maintenance, cleaning or making any adjustment.
•
WARNING: The surface of the appliance will get VERY HOT during operation. DO NOT touch any surface
of the appliance when it is in operation. Always ensure the heater is switched off and cool before
transporting.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance and its remote control.
•
This is a Class I product and must be earthed.
•
All pole disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
•
The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
•
DO NOT attempt to modify or dismantle the appliance in any circumstances.
WARNING:
All-Pole disconnection MUST BE incorportated into the fixed wiring accordance with
the wiring rules. As outline in clause 7.12.2 of AS/NZS 60335.1 for meeting the minimum electrical
safety of this standard.
