FILTER INSTALLATION
LRX Lighting offers several high quality extreme temperature color
correction and diffusion filters. These filters will not burn or change
color and should be the first choice.
Custom colors can be produced to your specifications, please allow four
to eight weeks lead time.

Industry standard gel type color correction or diffusion filters should be
placed in the center slot with heat shield placed in the inside slot and the
outside slot. The heat shield in the outside slot helps to maintain the
column of cool air created by the filter fans.
If a color correction filter and a diffusion filter are both required the
color filter should be placed in the outside slot, the diffusion filter placed
in the center slot and heat shield in the inside slot. This provides the
longest filter life.
It has been reported to us that using two layers of ¼ CTO (with at least
one inch of air separation) to achieve ½ CTO is possible and might
provide better results than a single piece of ½ CTO.
Should the cooling fans on the gel frame holder become a sound problem
they can be shut off temporarily using the gel fan stop switches located
on the fixture hand controller or the appropriate DMX channel!
Note: filter life will be compromised, keep off time to a minimum.
