• The measurement signal of the reference (or test sample) can be influenced by large
electromagnec effects and the display of the signal may be lost completely.

2.4 Use of Lithium-Ion rechargeable ba eries
!
WARNING
Misusing Lithium-Ion ba eries can lead to heang, explosion or ignion and
result in serious injury. Follow the safety instrucons listed below:
• Do not solder directly to the Lithium-Ion ba eries.
• Do not incinerate or heat the Lithium-Ion ba eries.
• The Lithium-Ion ba eries must only ever be connected with the correct
polarity.
• Never connect the posive terminal and the negave terminal of the Lithium-
Ion ba ery with any metallic object (such as wire).
• Never carry or store the Lithium-Ion ba eries together with necklaces, hairpins,
or other metallic objects.
WARNING!
• Lithium-Ion ba eries should never be punctured with nails nor hit with a
hammer. In addion, Lithium-Ion ba eries must never be trodden on or
exposed to other strong shocks or vibraons.
• Lithium-Ion ba eries must never come into contact with water or salt water.
Moreover, they must never get wet.
