Securing Ridge Cap
Apply a roughly 1/2˝bead of silicone caulk along the top face of the newly
fastened panels near the exposed lap of the top field panel (on both sides of
the roof). See Detail A below.
Place the ridge cap over the open gap at the peak of the roof. Create roughly
a 3/8˝overhang on the frontside of the roof. See Detail B.
Secure the ridge cap to the panels using twenty six (26) gasket screws
(thirteen on each side of the ridge cap, every 12˝). Ensure that these screws
line up with the previously installed screws.
