Gas Safety
To Connect LP Gas cylinder
Check that the rubber gas tube is fitted
securely onto the gas regulator and secured
with a clip, as shown.
Connect the gas regulator to the cylinder of
gas by turning the knob clockwise until it
stops
. It must then be further tightened
using a spanner.
Make sure that the tube is
not twisted.
To Disconnect LP Gas cylinder
1.
Make sure the LP gas tank valve is
“CLOSED”.
2.
Disconnect gas line from LP gas cylinder by
turning knob counter clockwise until it is
loose.
3.
For storage and cylinder exchange,
disconnect the hose at the cylinder only,
DO NOT disconnect hose from appliance.
4.
To change the gas cylinder, choose a well-
ventilated area, away from any ignition
source.
In the event of gas leakage
1.
Turn both the control knob and the LPG
cylinder valve to OFF position.
2.
Wait 5 minutes to allow gas to dissipate.
3.
If odour continues, immediately call
London Cool.
Troubleshooting
The flame pattern at the emitter screen
should be visually checked whenever the
heater is operated.
When the heater is on,
the emitter grid will
become bright red and the burner will display
tongues of blue flame.
If the flames produce thick black smoke
(indicating an obstruction of airflow through
the burners) or if black soot is accumulating on
the emitter grid or reflector, the heater should
be
turned off immediately
before contacting
London Cool.
Note:
After use, some discolouration of the
emitter screen is normal.
If the flame is very small, the supply pressure
is not enough, and the gas cylinder should be
changed.
Shut down or storage instructions
1.
Push in and turn control knob clockwise to
OFF position.
2.
Turn LPG cylinder gas valve clockwise to
OFF position when heater is not in use.
3.
Store appliance upright in a sheltered area.
Warning:
Heater will be hot after use -
handle with extreme care.
