A box (Figure 1) will briefly appear telling you that the Reader has found your LogTag.
The Reader will read the data from your LogTag and save it to your computer to the default location.
Once the data has been saved, LogTag Analyzer will automatically open your report.
Clearing, Resetting and re-starting the data logger
It is best to clear the data after each download so that each weekly download only includes data from
the previous week’s readings.
Before unplugging the data logger from your computer, click up the top of the software on
LogTag -->
Quick Reconfigure.
This will re-program the logger with the same settings and clear it ready to start
again.
DON’T FORGET - press and hold the START button again when you are putting it back in
the fridge.
Press
and hold the Start button for about a second. Both the red and green LEDs
on the front of the logger will flash for a few seconds to show that the logger is
starting.
After that, the green OK LED will flash briefly about every 8 seconds to show you
that the logger is recording.
The data logger is now ready to place immediately back into the fridge.
Return the data logger to the fridge asap
As soon as the report appears, you know that the data has been saved, so it is OK to
remove the logger from the reader (or the USB port) and return it to the refrigerator.
Follow the steps below to clear the data logger first and make sure you press START to
start it recording again).
You can then come back and analyse your data once the LogTag is back in the fridge.
