Removing Motor Covers (Cont’d)
Right Side Motor Cover

Remove the six bolts (1) securing the right side motor
cover (2).
Repeat procedure to return cover to position.
Top Motor Cover

Remove the six bolts (1) securing the top motor cover (2).
Reverse procedure to return cover to position.
Motor Removal
DANGER: Disconnect the Bad Ax from the
loader to ensure that all power is cut off
before starting this procedure.
Remove all of the motor covers. See “Removing
Motor Covers” on page 20 for location and removal
instructions.
Disconnect all hydraulic hoses connected at the motor.
Disconnect the grease hose from the bulkhead fitting by
the grease zerk (1).
Follow the procedure “Disc Removal” on page 23 to
remove the disc.

Remove the fifteen bolts (2) and washers (3) securing the
motor to the motor mount.
Pull motor up to remove from mount.
Reverse procedure to return motor back into operation.
