NOTE: 

The gear box requires 45 oz. of 80W-90 gear 
lube.

Location: 

Gear box (2). (Remove left side cover to 

access the gear box fitting. See “Left Side 

Motor Cover” on page 20 for removal 

instructions.)

Interval: 

Change yearly.

Maintenance

Removing Motor Covers

DANGER: 

Shut down power from the loader 

before removing the motor covers.

Use a 3/4" socket when removing bolts that are securing 
the motor covers. Follow the procedures in this sub-
section for removing the motor covers.

Left Side Motor Cover

Remove the eight bolts (1) securing the left side motor 
cover (2).

Reverse procedure to return cover and hose holder to 
position.
